“This show is a blend of abstract pieces, inspired by music that I’ve come to love. My dad's taste in music heavily influenced my creative process while I also branched out of my normal style of art and experimented with abstract concepts. My Dad is a DJ and has been since I was little. I grew up hearing about how we had turntables before a dining room table when I was a baby, which says a lot about how much my family loves music. It has been so much fun using dance music as an inspiration for my art, and nothing feels better as an artist than to combine my Dad's passions, in tandem with my own, to create one masterpiece. Each art piece is accompanied by the time stamp from the track Dance Until the Sun Comes Up, mixed by my father, himself. The viewers can experience the trancing sensation of the songs that drove me to choose each color, texture, and visual representation, with intention.
